Help with dummy/pacifier problem?

Because she's still so young, I would try to wait to take it from her. Believe me, I know how you feel. My 6 month old was doing the same thing from 3-6 months, waking every 1-2 hours for his pacifier. But if you're going to take it away cold turkey, she'll cry, and 3 months is ENTIRELY too young for CIO. You could always try putting her to sleep initially without it, because if she gets used to falling asleep to begin with without the pacifier, she may fall back to sleep without it when she wakes up in the middle of the night. Try the "No-Cry-Sleep-Solution" book. She gives a good method of taking away the pacifier without turning to crying. The trick is to teach her how to go to sleep without the pacifier. Replace the paci with rocking or a lovey. Just try some things before you immediately go to CIO.
